SABATEC AG is a Swiss engineering, planning and production company based in Schafisheim (AG). We develop can welding tools and spare parts for all common canbody welding machines and deliver worldwide.

1996
Founded through Michael Baumgartner, Peter Byland and Max Vogt.
First business activities with overhaul work on welding rolls and pendulum roller heads in Max’s garage.
1997
Expansion of the available wear- and tear spares for rollformers, lower welding arms (such as Z-bars).
2000
Relocation to Seon with 6 employees.
2001
First complete overhaul of a FAEL welding machine.
2002
Start-up of the first CNC milling machine.
2008
Relocation to a larger premises in Schafisheim with 11 employees.
Add-on with a first CNC turning centre to broaden the production in-house.
2010
Introduction to CAD/CAM system.
2016
20. Anniversary with 16 employees.
Introduction to ERP-System.
2020
Finalization of factory and office extension.
2021
Putting into operation of our solar plant with 45 kWp.
2023
Enlargement of our solar plant to 80 kWp.
Extension of production with a new Matec 5-axis milling machine.
